Job summary

Etched is seeking an experienced Hardware Validation Engineer to validate system hardware and PCB functionality, ensuring robust power and signal margins across interfaces. You will collect and analyze lab data to verify hardware performance, support post-silicon characterization, and ensure reliable operation across PCIe, I2C, and other subsystems.

The role requires hands-on experience with lab equipment, root cause analysis, and DOE experiments to debug hardware issues and optimize performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven hardware validation, lab testing, and PCB-level debugging experience.
  • Strong understanding of power integrity and signal integrity principles and measurement techniques.
  • Familiarity with PCIe, I2C, and other common hardware interfaces and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system hardware and PCB functional verification to meet design specs, including power and signal integrity margins.
  • Collect and analyze lab data to verify power delivery and overall system robustness.
  • Support post-silicon validation with DV/PVT, power and thermal characterization.
