Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Scientist in Vaccine Discovery Analytical Research to lead vaccine characterization and quality control using advanced analytical techniques. You will drive assay development and guide program-level scientific contributions across cross-functional teams.

The role involves evaluating new technologies, innovating in GxP environments, and supporting process and formulation development. Some travel (~10%) is expected.

Qualifications

PhD or Master's with 4+ years or Bachelor's with 6+ years in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Expertise in separations (HPLC, UPLC, CE) and protein characterization (SPR, MALS, ITC).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead assay development using HPLC, UPLC, electrophoresis and spectroscopic methods.
Drive program-level scientific contributions and collaborate with product teams on process and formulation development.
Provide technical guidance, evaluate new technologies and drive innovation in vaccine analytics.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; travel ~10%.
