Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Scientist in Discovery Sciences & Technologies to drive drug discovery across Virology, Inflammation, and Oncology. You will develop and apply biochemical, biophysical, and cellular assays to support target validation, lead identification, and optimization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot assays, analyze complex data, and stay ahead with emerging technologies to enhance capabilities.

Qualifications

• PhD required with 8+ years (BS) / 6+ years (MS) / 2+ years (PhD) in biopharma drug discovery.
• Experience: early discovery and target validation in biopharma.
• Strong expertise in assay development and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot assays; perform mechanistic pharmacology studies and data analysis.
• Communicate results to cross-disciplinary teams and senior leadership.
• Identify emerging technologies to enhance discovery capabilities.
