Job summary

The Amatriot Group is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support a high-visibility VA program. You will lead analysis activities to capture, document, and manage complex business and technical requirements in an Agile environment.

You will serve as liaison between VA stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring solutions meet mission needs and standards, with strong emphasis on Jira-based workflows and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a BA, Systems Analyst, or similar role, including lead/senior capacity.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for complex IT systems.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis efforts for VA systems and applications from discovery to implementation and validation.
• Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with VA stakeholders, end users, product owners, and SMEs.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to derive detailed technical requirements.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of scope and priorities.
• Use Jira to create, refine, and maintain epics, user stories, tasks, and defects and support Agile ceremonies.
