Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC seeks a Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex DEAN and VHA programs. The role entails directing overall program execution, staffing, and performance to deliver mission-driven healthcare initiatives.

You will partner with VA leadership, DEAN stakeholders, and contractor personnel to drive data-informed decision making, manage risks, and ensure alignment with VA priorities and schedules.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of professional experience supporting the task order.
• Experience planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs.
• Six years of experience with a large corporation or government agency.
• PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Contractor's primary interface with DEAN and the COR.
• Provide overall program management and leadership across all projects and activities.
• Plan, initiate, manage, execute, monitor, and close out programs for an integrated healthcare system.
• Ensure delivery of milestones, schedules, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate staffing, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
• Establish and maintain program management processes, standards, and measures.
• Coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders with VA and VHA priorities.
• Provide timely status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Foster collaboration among VA, DEAN, contractor personnel, and partners.
• Apply data-driven approaches to monitor performance and inform decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks and develop corrective actions as needed.
