Job summary

rtCamp is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing design team. This is a role for a seasoned, self-directed designer who brings both craft and strategic thinking to their work.

You'll own the design process end-to-end across complex client projects and digital products. This includes leading research, shaping design systems, facilitating stakeholder conversations, and mentoring the designers around you.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with a production portfolio.
• Ability to plan and conduct user research including interviews and usability tests.
• Deep proficiency in Figma and a broad design toolchain.
• Experience with design systems, governance, and cross‑project standards.
• Strong communication to facilitate client conversations independently.
• Mentor designers and contribute to team growth.
• Ability to connect design decisions to business goals.
• Accurate self‑estimation and project scoping capability.

Responsibilities

• Own design quality and outcomes from discovery to delivery.
• Identify UX risks early and address them with sound judgment.
• Plan, facilitate, and synthesize user research; own the research strategy.
• Design scalable UX solutions across product surfaces and multiple products.
• Own design-system components end‑to‑end and governance.
• Lead design reviews and uphold high standards for work shipped.
• Estimate tasks with the team and assist with scoping.
• Handle client conversations, balancing technical and consultative aspects.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level designers through feedback and critique.
• Serve as Design Lead when needed, delegate tasks across designers.
• Identify value‑focused opportunities to improve design and offerings.
• Align design decisions with client and business goals.
