Job summary

Cooley AI, the frontier development arm of Cooley LLP, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the Practice Engineering team in New York. The role focuses on user research, testing, and iterative design for AI-driven features in the legal domain, with emphasis on WCAG compliance and scalable design systems.

You will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and AI specialists, participate in Agile ceremonies, build wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma, and ensure consistent

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct applicable experience in UX/UI design.
• Experience with enterprise or complex software environments.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in Agile settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to iterate designs.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and style guide.
• Ensure designs meet WCAG and enterprise compliance requirements.
• Present concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
