KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Engineer, UX/UI in our Ignition Tax Product Group. This hybrid role focuses on delivering intuitive, accessible UX/UI across the Tax product portfolio. You will lead design activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and champion user-centered outcomes.

Qualifications include 3+ years in UX/UI with a strong portfolio and proficiency in Figma and related tools. Your work will emphasize accessibility and scalable design across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX/UI design focusing on usability and user-centered design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, CS, Engineering or related field; high school diploma or GED accepted.
• Ability to clearly present design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Proficiency with industry tools for design and collaboration (Figma, FigJam, Mural, Miro, Office 365).
• Solid understanding of backend concepts enabling design-engineering collaboration.
• Online portfolio showcasing UX/UI work demonstrating problem-solving and execution.

Responsibilities

• Champion UX/UI across projects to create intuitive end-to-end user journeys.
• Advocate for design vision and communicate rationale to cross-functional teams.
• Lead stakeholder and user interviews to uncover business needs and requirements.
• Translate insights into personas, journeys, IA, flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Conduct design reviews and user testing to validate solutions.
