Pet Place is hiring its first Senior UX Researcher to uncover what pet parents need, value, and what they’ll pay for. You’ll report to the Head of Product and collaborate with consumer, shelter, and partner teams across the US.

You will run generative and evaluative studies, influence pricing strategies, and shape roadmap decisions with data-driven insights. This is a remote role serving the USA with a focus on consumer products and services.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a related field with evidence of research impact.
• Proven track record in UX or consumer research that influenced product positioning, packaging, or pricing.
• Hands-on use of qualitative and quantitative methods, including pricing or trade-off analyses (e.g., Van Westendorp, conjoint).
• Experience turning data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead generative and evaluative research across the customer journey from onboarding to claims.
• Drive research on positioning, packaging, and pricing for products and services, including add-ons and bundles.
• Build customer segments with marketing and data teams, combining needs and behavioral data.
• Establish a light voice-of-customer program with interviews and surveys.
• Partner with analytics and product to design experiments and interpret results with qualitative context.
• Conduct research with shelters and other partners across the funnel, including churn interviews.
• Prioritize research requests and coach PMs and designers to run simple studies.
• Present findings to product teams and leadership to influence roadmaps and commercial decisions.
