Fauna Robotics is hiring a Senior UX Researcher to uncover what makes robots welcome in human spaces. You will connect research to product outcomes and lead in-lab and in-field studies, gathering quantitative and qualitative measures across development stages.

The role demands expertise in study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting, with a portfolio of past work and a focus on actionable insights that improve robot interactions and user experience across households and offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact.
• Expert in in-lab and in-field research with both qualitative and quantitative measures.
• Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related.
• Portfolio showing study plans, reports, and personas.
• Experience with study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with behavioral data collection and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Decide what gets studied: identify riskiest bets and sequence research to the roadmap.
• Stand up and own a research practice including recruiting, protocols, metrics, reporting.
• Run studies end to end: lab sessions, field work, concept evaluation, longitudinal use.
• Define experience metrics across releases from task success to retention signals.
• Deliver findings and work with design, product, and engineering to implement.
• Coach across the organization to cultivate proactive measurement.
