Job summary

UXR Hunt is seeking a seasoned UX Researcher to lead discovery efforts in complex, enterprise-scale environments. You will conduct interviews, contextual inquiries, and workflow analyses to uncover deep user insights and map current-state processes.

You will translate findings into frameworks and strategic recommendations, surface risks around trust and safety, and collaborate with design, product, and technical teams to validate concepts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX Research experience in complex or enterprise systems.
• Strong background in qualitative methods: interviews, contextual inquiry, workflow analysis.
• Experience tackling ambiguous problem spaces with structured discovery.
• Ability to translate research into frameworks, models, or strategic recommendations.
• Exposure to automation, multi-step workflows or platforms.
• Plusses: AI, automation, or agent-based systems.
• Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to service design or experience architecture.
• Familiar with trust, governance, and system transparency.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery efforts through interviews and artifact reviews.
• Map current-state workflows and identify key decision points.
• Surface risks related to trust, safety, and system interpretation.
• Develop insights and translate them into future-state experience recommendations.
• Support workshops and working sessions to validate assumptions and stress-test concepts.
• Partner with design, product, and technical teams to align on findings.
