Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a passionate UX Designer to shape the future of our eCommerce experiences. You will design solutions that are beautiful, intuitive, and grounded in data, working with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end design for eCommerce flows, translate complex requirements into simple experiences, and use A/B testing to validate hypotheses.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong eCommerce portfolio.
• Strong experience with Figma (or similar) and design systems.
• Proven use of data analytics and experimentation to drive design decisions (A/B/mv tests).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for eCommerce flows from discovery to delivery.
• Translate business needs and data insights into clear UX solutions.
• Apply A/B and multivariate testing to validate design hypotheses.
• Collaborate with product, analytics and engineering to run experiments and interpret results.
• Apply strong interaction and visual design to adhere to brand guidelines.
• Advocate for users while balancing business goals and constraints.
• Contribute to the design system and raise overall design quality.
