Job summary

Societ is seeking a Senior UX & Product Design Consultant for a part-time, contract engagement. Expect approximately two days per week, fully remote, collaborating with product and development teams to shape intuitive, cohesive software across cloud and enterprise platforms.

You’ll evaluate workflows, define UX standards, create flows and prototypes, mentor others, and embed user-centered design into planning and roadmaps, while balancing business goals and technical realities.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
Significant experience improving B2B SaaS products.
Portfolio showing complex software UX, not just marketing sites.
Expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, IA, and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure products present a modern, cohesive experience that reflects the platform quality.
Conduct comprehensive UX reviews of existing products and workflows.
Identify friction points and recommend improvements based on UX principles.
Evaluate new features for usability before development.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders.
Create user flows, prototypes, and interactive designs.
Introduce UX methodologies into the product development process.
Help establish design standards and usability guidelines.
Balance navigation, information architecture, accessibility, and product consistency.
Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap prioritization through UX.
Mentor developers on user-centered design principles.
