Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced UX Designer for the UX and Human Factors group in New York. The role focuses on research, IA, personas, and high‑fidelity designs for large-scale, complex systems with accessibility compliance (ADA/WCAG).

You will collaborate with product sponsors, technology teams, and developers to deliver intuitive, accessible digital products. Responsibilities include leading user research, defining journeys, creating wireframes, prototypes, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant UX design experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Significant experience on complex, enterprise-scale design projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using professional design tools and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with users, clients, product sponsors and technology to understand project requirements.
• Plan and perform UX research, define IA, user journeys, and create personas.
• Identify metrics and data to support decision-making and guide tech partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm and co-create ideas and solutions.
• Perform relevant testing to validate and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma and AI-assisted sets.
• Contribute to design standards and best practices.
• Hand over designs to development with clear specifications and support.
