Nexiva Inc. in New York City seeks a seasoned UX Designer with 7+ years of experience to drive user-centered product design across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate goals into practical design solutions, guiding projects from concept to delivery in a hybrid office setting. You will develop UX deliverables, run usability studies, and work closely with developers to bring prototypes to life.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in UI/UX engineering on full life cycle of design deliverables including wireframes, mockups, journey maps, prototypes, story boards and user surveys.
• One to two years working in an Integrated Eligibility System Program in various workstreams including Fair Hearings in a Health and Human Service setting.
• Seven or more years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
• Two to five years of experience with user research, user modeling and usability testing.
• Two to five years of experience with CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into UX strategy.
• Design, develop and implement client and internal facing applications and provide tools that drive NYS initiatives.
• Create UX deliverables: user models and scenarios, sketches, user stories, flows, prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps.
• Plan and conduct usability testing; analyze feedback and iterate to improve UX.
• Work with developers to bring designs to life and prototype coding-enabled solutions.
• Develop and execute user research plans; present results to stakeholders.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops: journey mapping, user needs modeling.
• Address defects and enhancements as part of the application lifecycle.
• Participate in incident resolution post-implementation as required.
• Prepare for and attend monthly in-person meetings as needed.
