Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to lead design strategy for our digital web experiences focused on financial professionals. You will collaborate with UX designers, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to craft new experiences across devices.

You will guide research, design creation, usability testing, and build for next‑generation experiences while aligning with senior IT and business leaders in a customer‑centric, data‑driven

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in user experience design and development
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) minimum in relevant field
• Advanced level experience with UX design/wireframe/prototyping tools (Axure preferred)
• Basic knowledge of web accessibility (ADA) as it relates to design and user experience

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and feelings through research activities and stakeholder interviews
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and digital designs focused on customer needs and analytics data
• Lead and participate in design thinking sessions with business and IT partners
• Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to meet business goals while focusing on the customer experience
• Maintain enterprise design standards and contribute to Lincoln's design and brand style guide
• Work closely with front-end developers to provide design specifications during development
• Keep updated on design tools, trends, and best practices
