Job summary

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Senior UX Designer to craft UX/UI for D&D Beyond, the digital companion for Dungeons & Dragons. You will build innovative, intuitive tools that enhance play experiences for millions of players and DMs worldwide.

This hybrid role requires three days per week at our Renton, WA office, with responsibilities from strategy articulation to wireframing and visual design. Bring a strong design portfolio and fluency in design systems.

Qualifications

Degree in UX Design, Art, Information architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Portfolio/case study demonstrating excellent design sensibilities and craft.
Strong visual design direction background; experience with design systems and style guides.
Hands-on expertise in responsive web design and familiarity with mobile app patterns.
Ability to think conceptually in visual and interface design.
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable using data to inform design decisions, even with incomplete data.
Growth mindset for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop UX/UI solutions for D&D Beyond with strong product design, systems design, UI style and usability.
Scope plans and deliver design projects independently; identify and solve issues impacting quality.
Produce design artifacts such as journey maps, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity comps and style guides.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to ship value incrementally.
