Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Principal UX Designer to shape AI-native business applications at scale. You will define experience strategies spanning multiple solutions, turning AI capabilities into proactive, trustworthy experiences for millions of customers.

You will influence product and business strategy, mentor designers, and collaborate with science, engineering, and product leaders to push the boundaries of AI-enabled design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in UX design leading large-scale, customer-facing services.
• Proven ability to define and execute design strategies at scale.
• Strong systems thinker able to architect reusable frameworks across services.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and aligning multiple orgs.
• Exceptional storytelling across visual, verbal, and written channels.
• Experience mentoring senior designers.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and collaborating with ML teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the UX vision and strategy across multiple services and solutions.
• Translate emerging AI capabilities into coherent, human-centered experiences that build trust.
