Job summary

Great Gray Group in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior UX Designer to elevate experience quality across our retirement investment platform. You will translate complex workflows into clear, efficient interfaces for advisors, recordkeepers, and asset managers.

You will lead user research, establish design standards, collaborate with product managers and engineers in an agile environment, and guide the design system as the product scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field (Master's degree a plus).
• 7+ years of professional UX/UI design experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience with 0-1 products and/or fintech preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of leading research end-to-end and translating findings into product decisions.
• Strong collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment.
• Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
• Experience building or contributing to a design system in a scaling product environment.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, low-process environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and growth-oriented values.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype across the full UX process—information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelityInteractive prototypes.
• Lead user research—interviews, usability testing, and surveys to understand advisor, recordkeeper, and asset manager workflows.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and ship high-impact work.
• Present research findings and design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain design quality through production.
• Contribute to design system craft and establish UI components and accessibility standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
