Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a User Experience Designer 2 for Fort Meade, MD. This full-time role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship. You will lead UX design across devices and systems, translating requirements into intuitive interfaces in support of national security missions.

Starting salary ranges from $129,000 to $150,000 per year, with increases based on education and experience. On-site, day shift, no telework; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in User Experience Design.
• Five years experience within the last 10 years leading project life cycle design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of UX design experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead plan, design and development activities to create the user experience for devices, tools and systems.
• Establish interactive conventions, gather user requirements, mock-up user experiences, participate in trade-off discussions with development teams and subject matter experts, analyze tool sets, create screen mock-ups and help customers imagine new interaction techniques.
• Apply visualization and screen design expertise to create a successful user experience.
