Job summary

Google is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to craft intuitive, high-fidelity experiences for billions of users. You will turn complex tasks into simple flows, build mocks, and prototypes with a focus on the user.

You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams, influence product strategy, and evolve Google’s design language across platforms. A strong portfolio and ability to drive workshops are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience in visual design, prototyping, and creating presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value opportunities and explore net-new product innovations that drive ecosystem growth and seamlessness by addressing emerging user needs across platforms and products.
• Take ownership of early-stage, ambiguous concepts and rapidly turn them into living, high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.
• Articulate design positions and challenge partners with new product design thinking utilizing excellent storytelling skills.
• Facilitate the innovation process through creative workshops, utilizing design thinking methods to align cross-functional and cross-product area partners behind a shared outlook.
• Partner across UX teams to drive these strategic directions into concrete launches and landings.
