Job summary

Google is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences for billions of users. You will create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while collaborating with Engineering and Product Management.

As part of the Ads in AI Experiences team, you will design for the AI era, shaping how ads integrate into conversational and multimodal journeys with a focus on usability and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Experience building and designing AI-powered consumer products or features.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Establish and advocate a cohesive design strategy for advertising within Generative AI.
• Materialize ambitious concepts through advanced prototyping (including code, system prompting, and high-fidelity interaction design).
• Lead experimentation for a wide variety of novel ad formats. Identify user needs, propose hypothesis-driven designs, and iterate rapidly based on live experiments and research insights.
• Act as a trusted thought partner to executive leadership across Engineering and Product. Navigate matrixed organizations to drive consensus, advocating the user perspective.
