Job summary

Google is seeking an Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences for billions of users. You will craft flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to bring product experiences to life with a refined, magical feel.

You will apply user-centered design methods to evolve the Google design language, focusing on AI-empowered experiences and tackling complex problems within Google Sheets and related Workspace apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience in prototyping at various fidelity levels using Figma, Antigravity, or code.
• Experience working with spreadsheet tools.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional Google Sheets teams to manage complex, technical features and challenges.
• Drive design thinking and product innovation across time horizons to set the direction and land near-term solutions for meeting user needs.
• Influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies.
• Drive design direction and refine solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.
• Pioneer AI-driven designs.
