Job summary

General Motors in Warren, Michigan is seeking a Senior Designer for the Advanced UX Team to shape next-generation in-vehicle interfaces through concept visuals, storytelling, and rapid prototyping. You will build scalable design systems, contribute motion studies and 2D/3D visuals, and collaborate across design, engineering, and product to deliver polished assets and compelling user experiences.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in UX/Product/HID design.
A thoughtfully curated design portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX and prototyping.
Proven abilities in visual storytelling and complex interaction design.

Responsibilities

Develop advanced UX concepts and visual directions for in-vehicle experiences.
Create scalable design systems and interface frameworks across platforms.
Produce high-quality visuals including 2D illustrations, UI explorations, and motion studies.
Build low- to high-fidelity prototypes to support decision-making and flows.
Iterate rapidly on user flows and motion behaviors based on feedback.
Deliver polished design assets ready for collaboration and handoff.
