Job summary

General Motors' GM Human Interface Design - Vehicle Studio seeks a Designer passionate about shaping in-vehicle UX across digital instrument clusters, touchscreens and HUD, collaborating with design, software and engineering teams.

You will deliver high-quality visuals, contribute to prototypes and design reviews, and ensure brand-aligned, user-centered interfaces with strong craft and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience designing digital UIs for automotive, embedded, mobile, or complex product experiences.
• Strong portfolio showing visual design craft, interface design, and UX thinking.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual design concepts, mood boards, UI assets, and production-ready graphics for in-vehicle digital experiences.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and cross-functional partners to translate user needs into clear interface solutions.
• Contribute to prototypes, storyboards, animations, and presentations to communicate design intent and interaction behavior.
