Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking experienced Development Manager and Senior Development Manager professionals to lead the development of large-scale utility-scale renewable assets in the West Region. This role involves land control, interconnection management, and complex permitting across CAISO/WECC contexts, with responsibility for multi-year timelines.

The ideal candidate will combine real estate acumen, technical understanding of power grids, and the ability to navigate regulatory challenges

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in renewable energy project development.
• 3+ years managing energy projects through the full development lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Environmental Science.

Responsibilities

• Site Control: lead identification, evaluation and securing viable land for utility-scale deployment.
• Interconnection Management: navigate ISO/RTO interconnection queues and manage studies for grid injection.
• Permitting & Entitlements: manage environmental and land-use permitting (CEQA/NEPA where applicable).
• Project Economics: maintain project models, track budgets and ensure FID criteria.
• Technical Coordination: collaborate with engineering and GIS teams on layouts and technology selection.
