Stuart Contractors, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Senior Utility Foreman to lead underground utility crews on civil site construction projects. You will own a project, guide a crew, and keep work progressing safely and efficiently in the field.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in underground utilities or civil site development, with at least 5 years as a foreman, strong leadership, plan-reading, and communication skills, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of underground utility and/or civil site development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Foreman experience.
• Extensive knowledge of underground pipe installation and utility construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate field crews.
• Ability to read plans, establish grades, and understand project specs.
• Heavy equipment operating experience.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage underground utility crews in daily field operations.
• Lead the installation of water, sewer, storm drain, manholes, structures, and related underground utilities.
• Plan daily crew activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity.
• Read and understand construction plans, grades, elevations, and utility drawings.
• Coordinate project needs and daily progress with Project Managers and other field personnel.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure installations meet project specifications.
• Maintain safe trenching and excavation practices and ensure OSHA requirements are followed.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary and remain hands-on in field operations.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, inspectors, subcontractors, and project leadership.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

Stuart Contractors is seeking a highly experienced Senior Utility Foreman to lead underground utility crews on civil site construction projects. We are looking for a proven field leader with extensive knowledge of underground utilities who can take ownership of a project, lead a crew, and keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday with a typical 6:30 AM start time. Additional hours may be required depending on project schedules and workload.
