Job summary

Cognizant US in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Utility Consultant for Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response. This role requires 15+ years in the utility industry and hands-on leadership in emergency management, incident response, storm restoration, and utility operations.

Qualifications

15+ years of utility industry experience.
Experience with large electric or gas utilities.
Led Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Response or Incident Management.
Experience in EOC activations during major incidents.
Strong knowledge of ICS and NIMS.
Experience coordinating restoration during severe weather events.
Collaborates with operations, regulatory and public safety teams.
Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills.
