Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Distribution Project Manager to oversee a long-term infrastructure program across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. The role combines office coordination with field work in a hybrid environment, requiring strong communication with engineers, contractors, and utility stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing 10–20 distribution projects, coordinating design, procurement, construction, and regulatory tasks, and sustaining program momentum for 5–10 more years.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting electrical distribution or substation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–20 electrical distribution projects simultaneously from initiation through completion.
• Review project scope and develop project execution plans with engineering and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Manage contractor bid processes and develop RFP packages.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and ongoing project progress meetings.
• Monitor project schedules and coordinate work sequencing with engineering and field teams.
• Track project budgets, financial forecasts, and accruals.
• Coordinate permitting approvals and regulatory documentation.
