Job summary

Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is seeking a Utility Coordinator to manage all utilities for DF projects from site assessment to turnover. You will coordinate with internal teams, electric, gas, water, sewer, and telecom providers to ensure design, approvals, installation and energization stay on schedule.

You will prepare applications and load letters, track milestones, coordinate temporary services, and work with legal and engineering teams on easements, line extensions and payments, with

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in utility coordination or related roles.
• Ability to read site plans, civil drawings, and basic MEP drawings.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills; able to manage several projects.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate utility design, transformer locations, and service routing with providers and engineers.
• Prepare and submit utility applications, load letters, and approvals; track through to decision.
• Manage easements, line-extension, and other agreements with legal and engineering teams.
• Maintain a master utility tracker; align milestones with construction schedule and energization dates.
• Coordinate temporary power/water, site visits, inspections, and installation crews.
• Track utility fees and invoices; route for payment and reconciliation.
• Set up permanent accounts at turnover and transfer to property management.
