Job summary

InfraSource is seeking a Foreman to lead and supervise field operations from our Lorton, VA site, supporting Washington, DC and Virginia projects. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and hands-on coordination of utility construction activities and crews.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Local travel and a commitment to safety are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years field experience or military equivalent preferred.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License.
• DOT Medical Card if driving company vehicle.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily field operations by planning to job specifications.
• Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Oversee safety by modeling behaviours and taking corrective action.
• Support crew by operating equipment and performing labor as needed.
• Pre-survey job location and verify utility locates have been performed.
• Manage customer and employee relations and communications.
• Analyze and resolve on-site challenges.
• Secure work sites to protect the public and equipment.
• Coach, train, and evaluate team members toward goal achievement.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
