Job summary

Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana, is seeking a Utilities Senior Operator. You will independently operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems including water, steam, compressed air, and waste streams, while upholding safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement in a GMP environment.

Initial location is Carmel, IN, with permanent placement in Lebanon on a 12‑hour fixed shift (day or night) on a 3‑2‑2‑3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in utilities or mechanical operations.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to respond to call-ins and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems with minimal oversight.
• Maintain housekeeping across utility operations and address issues proactively.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues; report findings to supervision.
• Support training of Operators by sharing knowledge and reinforcing safe practices.
• Suggest continuous improvement ideas and safety concerns to lead operators.
• Follow SOPs, GMP requirements, and EH&S; log and document accurately.
