Job summary

The City of Henderson is seeking a Senior Utilities Business Analyst in the Department of Utility Services to lead cross-functional efforts, design and implement programs, and support asset and fiscal management. The role emphasizes gathering requirements, translating them into software configurations or automated workflows, and delivering data-driven insights.

Ideal candidates will have strong SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) skills, Power BI reporting experience, and a proven track record of collecting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required.
Five years of experience in financial, administrative, or business analysis, including utility experience.
Certificate of training in asset management or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead evaluation, design, documentation, and implementation of programs to manage and support City of Henderson utility operations.
Support asset and fiscal management activities and manage assigned projects.
Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions and improve processes.
