Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Construction Manager, Utilities to join the team in the Los Angeles area, performing a wide range of professional engineering tasks in field or office settings.

The role focuses on on-site construction management, coordinating with 3rd-party utility owners, and supporting the ESFV LRT project to deliver safe, reliable, and operational infrastructure in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration of contracts for construction and design.
• Experience in day-to-day management of large construction management staff.
• Cal/OSHA 30 Training certification prior to start of work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee utility relocation and ensure safety for all parties and the public.
• Review 3rd party utility owner operations for CAL OSHA compliance and coordinate activities.
• Confer with contractors to ensure compliance with plans and quality standards; supervise construction assessments.
• Assist with QMO Program implementation; provide timely input on correspondence and submittals.
• Review contract changes, disputes, claims, and impact analyses; document daily activities and inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate project records, field quantities for payments, and as-built conditions; track budget and schedule.
