Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Construction Manager, Utilities for the Los Angeles area to oversee on-site utility relocation and coordination for the ESFV LRT project. You will be the primary contact with 3rd-party utility owners during construction, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include contract administration, records management, budget tracking, and collaboration with staff to support engineering redesign when needed. Local LA experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have 10–15 years of experience, including management of utility work and field exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management required.
• Experience relocating all utility types (water, gas, power, sewers, drainage, communications) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee utility relocation and on-site safety for public and workers.
• Coordinate with 3rd-party utility owners and ensure CAL/OSHA compliance.
• Lead contract administration, changes, disputes, and documentation.
• Manage daily project records, submittals, and field data for payments.
• Supervise large construction management staff and ensure project milestones are met.
• Review contractor plans for adherence to specifications and quality.
• Support development and implementation of project management procedures.
• Assist with community relations and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure alignment with environmental and DBE requirements.
