Job summary

Blue Ops INC. seeks a Senior USV Operations Trainer to design and deliver advanced classroom, lab, and field training for unmanned maritime systems. You will evaluate trainee proficiency and supervise junior instructors, ensuring safe, effective operation in defense environments.

You will apply IDS methodologies and tailor instruction to diverse technical backgrounds, travel domestically and internationally as needed, and support on-site customer training at government facilities and shipyards.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• 5+ years of experience delivering technical or operational training in defense, maritime, or unmanned systems contexts.
• Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and deliver classroom, laboratory, and field-based instruction on USV operations and safety procedures.
• Lead scenario-based and simulation-supported training exercises that mirror real-world environments.
• Deliver advanced operator training including command-and-control interface operation and telemetry monitoring.
• Mentor junior trainers and contract instructors; provide feedback and quality oversight.
