Job summary

Kainos is seeking an experienced User Researcher (Consultant) to deliver actionable insights that shape service experiences and focus on user needs. You will coach and develop staff, driving needs-based design and design thinking across projects.

As part of our Experience Design capability, you will collaborate with client teams to deliver research plans, lead workshops, and advocate for user-centered outcomes that make a measurable impact across digital services.

Qualifications

• Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research activities with appropriate methods.
• Expert knowledge and application of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver relevant research plans and strategies.
• Designs and leads workshops across a project lifecycle.
• Represents user research across the organisation.
• Develop staff through coaching and mentoring of senior team members.
• Excellent communication at all levels and strong commercial awareness.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
