Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to transform technology into opportunity for mission‑critical government projects and to advance your engineering career.

You will design and implement user interfaces with Angular 20+, TypeScript, HTML and CSS, collaborate with systems and software engineers, and ensure accessibility and UX quality. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required; location is Annapolis Junction, MD with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years performing in a UI developer role for a software team.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support the MPO Customer.
• Collaborate with systems and software engineers and other User Interface developers to design, develop, release, and support User Interfaces for multiple feature sets deployed within an enterprise workflow platform.
• Translate customer requirements into functional, performant, and appealing User Interfaces.
• Utilize Angular 20 and Pega Constellation UI components for an optimal end user experience.
• Participate in User Experience (UX) analysis, design, and prototyping to maximize usability of developed User Interfaces.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
• Experience: 5+ years performing in a User Interface Developer role for a software development team.
• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $121,550 – $164,450.
