Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead initiatives within our USAF technology portfolio. You will head a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, software architects, developers, and Logistics SMEs to architect, deploy, and sustain next-generation data products that enable the USAF ISO mission.

Preferred candidates hold TS/SCI clearance with US citizenship and can work from Colorado Springs or Dayton, Ohio, with remote options for travelers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 15+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Extensive experience with data architectures and modeling and simulation analysis for optimization of complex supply chain networks.
• Proven experience with modern programming languages (Python, Java) within agile development frameworks.
• Strong proficiency with AWS and/or Azure cloud services, with hands-on experience in cloud deployment, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), Docker, and elastic cloud orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices for secure, scalable software deployments.
• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI. US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technologists and business partner SMEs.
• Develop technical architectures for sustainment optimization.
• Support AF growth through technology innovation and regular customer engagements.
• Collaborate with engineers and AF SMEs to ensure best-in-class feature development and data management, supporting supply chain risk management, repair network optimization, asset visibility, and inventory optimization.
