Job summary

LMI is seeking a Full Stack Developer/Front End Engineer to support USAF technology initiatives. Location preference is Colorado Springs, CO or Dayton, OH; remote candidates who are willing to travel will be considered.

The role involves designing secure web apps, building responsive UI with React and TypeScript, creating backend services and APIs, and deploying to AWS/AWS GovCloud. You will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile, DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven full stack web development in production
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or .NET
• Designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Hands on AWS development/deployment experience
• Git-based workflows and Agile teams
• Active Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure web apps for USAF needs
• Build responsive UIs with React and TypeScript
• Create backend services and RESTful APIs
• Model data and integrate with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Deploy apps in AWS/AWS GovCloud
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders; ensure secure coding
• Implement DevSecOps with CI/CD and testing
• Troubleshoot across the stack and participate in code reviews
• Evaluate new technologies to improve performance and security
