Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Sr. Analyst in Global Trade Compliance to support post-entry matters such as protests, prior disclosures and PSCs.

You will partner with internal teams, customs brokers and external counsel to identify issues and ensure timely government submissions. You will monitor timelines, maintain records, and stay current with CBP guidance and enforcement priorities impacting Abbott’s import operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Compliance, Audit, or other relevant area.
• 3–5 years of experience in U.S. import compliance or customs brokerage.
• Experience preparing protests, prior disclosures, PSCs, or customs audit responses.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR, entry requirements, liquidation, protests, prior disclosures, valuation, classification, country of origin).
• Ability to analyze large volumes of import data and identify compliance risks and corrective actions.
• Strong writing skills for regulatory submissions and business communications.
• High attention to detail and problem solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support protests, prior disclosure analysis, PSCs, and CF28/29 responses.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customs brokers, outside counsel to gather import records and supporting docs.
• Monitor protest, prior disclosure, PSC, liquidated damages, bills timelines and ensure timely submissions and payments.
• Maintain organized records, data, correspondence and government communications.
• Identify inconsistencies, errors or trends requiring corrective action.
• Stay aware of regulatory changes, CBP guidance, trade remedies and enforcement priorities.
• Partner with business teams to implement corrective actions from disclosures, protests, or reviews.
• Travel 5% - 10%.
