Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance team in Newtown, PA. You will own US entities financial reporting, ensure accurate monthly close, strengthen controls, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will partner with FP&A, tax, and operations, support audits and regulatory filings, and contribute to finance transformation and system improvements, including 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience; CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting; solid analytical skills.
• Experience with US tax compliance; multi-state operations ideal.
• Experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics Business Central preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel skills; Power Query desirable.
• Positive, customer service oriented demeanor.
• Leadership experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and YTD financial statements for US entities.
• Ensure timely month-end close and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain strong controls; reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support US GAAP compliance and technical accounting analyses.
• Collaborate with FP&A and operations on revenue and margins.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead finance projects and process improvements, incl. 401(k).
