Job summary

The Virginia Society of CPAs is seeking a senior finance leader to run the US finance function within a rapidly growing, project-driven manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with operations, production, supply chain, and executive leadership to drive financial performance and governance.

Responsibilities include financial control and reporting, project accounting, working capital management, and systems/process improvement, with leadership across a scaling

Qualifications

Senior finance leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience with month-end close, reporting and controls.
Knowledge of project accounting and revenue recognition.
Experience with SAP ByDesign and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead US finance operations, including month-end close and reporting.
Deliver timely management accounts and ensure internal controls.
Oversee project accounting for large-scale engineered-to-order contracts.
Monitor revenue recognition under percentage-of-completion.
Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital.
Partner with operations for profitability and performance.
Drive SAP ByDesign and Power BI implementation and automation.
Build and develop the US finance team.
