Job summary

Accenture PLC in the United States seeks an Employment Litigation Counsel to advise internal stakeholders on complex employee relations issues and compliance related to employment disputes across the US.

The role focuses on employment litigation with experience in FLSA, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, and requires travel up to 25% and the ability to work across multiple US time zones.

Qualifications

• Law Degree / Juris Doctor.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment litigation.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment litigation and disputes under US federal, state, and local laws with emphasis on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Provide legal expertise to resolve complex employee relations and litigation matters.
• Knowledge of FLSA classifications, overtime, and wage/hour issues.
• Advise on discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related claims.
• Assess regulatory and compliance initiatives in employment matters.
• Develop and manage outside counsel relationships.
• Support disputes arising from acquisitions.
• Stay current on legal developments and propose changes to practices.
