Accenture PLC is seeking an Employment Litigation Counsel to advise on complex employee relations and employment disputes across the United States. The role focuses on employment litigation, requires a JD, a current US license, and at least 5 years of experience, with travel up to 25% and multi-time zone availability.

The position reports to the North American Employment Litigation Lead and involves coordinating outside counsel and staying ahead of regulatory changes affecting employment

Formación

• Law degree or equivalent required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment litigation.

Responsabilidades

• Act as legal advisor regarding employment litigation and disputes involving US federal, state, and local employment laws with emphasis on compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal expertise to resolve complex employee relations and litigation matters.
• Have knowledge regarding FLSA employment classifications, overtime matters, and other wage and hour issues.
• Provide legal expertise relative to disputes alleging discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.
• Assess and have knowledge regarding employment-related regulatory and compliance initiatives.
• Develop and manage outside counsel relationships.
• Support business and provide dispute resolution for employment-related claims arising from acquisitions.
• Stay abreast of legal developments affecting the company, its clients, and industries and recommend changes to company’s practices as needed in light of employment litigation trends.
