Job summary

Ultimo, an IFS company, seeks a senior Finance contact for the US to own financial integrity and US GAAP/IFRS alignment. You will lead month-end close, payroll, tax, and treasury processes, while coordinating with European leadership for group reporting.

The role offers a senior, high-visibility position in a global SaaS environment with competitive compensation. Based in ITasca, IL, a 135k–175k salary plus 10% target bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA advantageous).
• Experience in Controller/Senior Accounting/Finance Manager roles, ideally in a multinational.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and multi-state sales/tax.
• Familiarity with IFRS preferable; payroll, treasury controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Own US month-end close and key balance sheet accounts for group reporting.
• Ensure US accounting aligns with group policy under IFRS and US GAAP adjustments.
• Lead US sales and use tax across states (Avalara) and coordinate with tax advisers.
• Maintain US finance calendar; be main contact for auditors and authorities.
• Partner with HR on payroll, 401(k) and benefits accounting; reconcile items.
• Oversee US treasury: cash forecasting, payment runs, day-to-day banking.
• Own US project accounting and commissions with FP&A, Sales and HR.
• Contribute to intercompany accounting and FX revaluation; light US sub-consolidation.
