Metric Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Urban and Regional Planning Project Manager with significant local government experience. You will oversee multiple planning studies, ensure scope/budget adherence, and serve as the primary contact for municipal clients.

This hybrid role reports to one of several regional offices, including Miami, Lake Mary, Tampa, Jacksonville or Panama City. You will guide teams through comprehensive plan amendments, zoning analyses, and development reviews, while

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of planning experience, with city/county/regional contracts.
• AICP certification required or in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of Florida growth management law and planning processes.

Responsabilités

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and staffing for multiple planning projects.
• Act as primary client contact with municipal and county partners.
• Lead development of comprehensive plans and zoning analyses.
• Oversee stakeholder workshops, public hearings, and planning board meetings.
• Present findings to boards and the public, and review technical reports.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or related field

Master's degree preferred
