Job summary

Metric Engineering LLC seeks an experienced ITS/Traffic Engineer to lead design teams, supervise staff, interact with clients, manage budgets, and pursue project opportunities. The role covers planning, analysis, design, and engineering reports to meet project goals.

You will support construction and operations of ITS/Traffic projects, coordinate with multiple departments, and contribute to marketing, proposals and client interviews to advance project scopes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Florida Professional Engineer license and 4+ years of experience.
• Expertise in ITS/Traffic engineering planning, design and analysis.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes and fee estimates for project tasks.
• Review and guide ITS/traffic production plans and analyses.
• Lead design teams to produce plans and reports.
• Supervise ITS design staff; manage client relations and budgets.
• Oversee projects through construction, integration, and acceptance.
