Job summary

MGM is seeking a Senior Planner to perform advanced planning and supervise staff in land use, development management, and community renewal initiatives. You will lead complex studies, prepare development plans, and interface with the public while ensuring policy compliance and project delivery.

The position requires a Master’s degree in urban planning or related field, plus several years of experience and leadership capability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with coursework in urban/city planning, urban studies, community planning, or geography.
• 4 years of progressively responsible professional urban/city planning experience involving program development, strategic planning, research, and analytical applications.
• 2 years of experience leading others in the performance of tasks or projects.
• Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners is preferred, but not required.
