Job summary

TYG Landscape Architecture, an established design-build practice, is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect / Project Lead to guide the design and delivery of high-end urban landscapes across the New York metropolitan area, including rooftop gardens, terraces, courtyards, and waterfront spaces.

The successful candidate will lead projects from concept through construction, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent, feasibility, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Strong portfolio showing design and built work.
• Experience delivering rooftop landscapes and other urban projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with SketchUp/Rhino/Lumion.
• Knowledge of landscape construction, drainage, irrigation, waterproofing, and rooftop design.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction administration.
• Develop designs for rooftops, terraces, courtyards, and waterfront spaces.
• Present designs to clients and coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Produce construction docs, detailing, planting plans, and specs.
• Mentor junior designers and manage field site visits.
• Ensure design intent and budget/schedule alignment.
• Work with internal teams to maintain buildability.
